What is floating?  Floatation therapy, or more simply floating, is the most incredible means of stress relief and relaxation available today. Each float tank contains 1000 L of water with over 1200 pounds of dissolved Epsom salts. This solution allows you to float effortlessly on the water’s surface. Once settled in the tank, with the water and air heated to skin temperature (94.0oF), it is virtually impossible to distinguish between parts of the body that are in contact with the water, and those that are not. This in effect gives you the sensation of floating in midair. And finally, the elimination of all light and sound creates the ultimate sensory-free environment – the universe has been reduced to you.

Is located in the heart of rural Metchosin, a small farming community in Greater Victoria.   We have been organic farming in Metchosin for over 15 years.  Keeping it local is very important to us and protecting our environment is our number one concern.   Our soap is vegetable based with no animal products, we use local plant material and natural clays, ingredients that are good for you and the environment. Our product is 100% biodegradable including our packaging.  We use recycled material for our minimalist packaging and reclaimed wood for our displays.
METCHOSING SOAP WORKS

For 10 years I have been wondering how I could give back to this very special organization, “Women in Transition House”. We have created a special soap bar that will only be available for the month of February. The bar is called Energy, Love and Healing.  $1.00 of every purchase of the Energy and Healing Soap Bar will go to the Women in Transition House. We called the Soap Bar, “Energy, Love and Healing” to give women going through Domestic abuse the ENERGY to get through it. We called it LOVE to let them know that we care and that there is LOVE in this world. We called it HEALING to let them know that they are survivors, life will get better and HEALING is possible. Domestic Abuse comes in all different forms and many of the scars are not seen by anyone, scars that are carried deep within their hearts.

Debbie Cooper is an inspiration to us all!  Debbie is living her dharma, her purpose, she had a dream, a vision, an intension and step by step, day by day she started a journey on realizing her dream.  One bar of soap at a time, one location at a time, she is now growing into the full realization of her dream.  She is a good example of the messages in both Elizabeth Gilbert's book BIG MAGIC as well as Tara Mohr's book Playing BIG.  Once we find or voice, your mission, learn to live with the fears and step through them ... we are on our way to greatness.  Let the Debbie's of the world be your inspiration and KNOW that you too can do anything you set your mind to do!

What’s ‘Moke-sha‘?  Moksha Yoga Victoria is a form of hot yoga and is a unique yoga series that combines the precision of therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga in a specially heated room. The series is a cardiovascular workout that strengthens, tones and loosens the muscles, while calming the mind and reducing stress. The ‘hot’ in hot yoga allows for deep, safe stretching and promotes detoxification of the skin, blood and muscles through sweat. Classes are suitable for all levels of ability, even ABSOLUTE beginners with limited flexibility!

PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS – Ocean Art Decor
Thank you to Tracy Mellott - Artist of "Perfect Imperfections" (Ocean Art decor) for all of your generous donations of your unique and breath taking pieces. 

Tracy is following your dreams and passions with her Art. Walking and collecting each stone, shell and piece of driftwood used in her art, she does with spirit guidance and mindful meditation each morning and is thankful and inspired with the treasures she is gifted with each day. 

The name, Perfect Imperfections was gifted to Tracy one day as she was meditating along the water and she would pick up each treasure and notice that each one, although beautiful was imperfectly perfect. It was shared with Tracy that ALL things and people were created imperfectly perfect and that is their Beauty and Uniqueness! 

It was an AH! moment, and from then on Tracy's intention with her Ocean Art is to show that although imperfections exist, we can choose to see beyond them to find "The Soul Beauty and Uniqueness each one offers.
